The CCC has officially incorporated as a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit customer advocacy group. Kindly take note that contributions to an I.R.C. § 501(c)(4) organization are generally not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. However, they may be deductible as trade or business expenses, if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business. (See http://www.irs.gov/charities/nonprofits/article/0,,id=156411,00.html) We strongly encourage you to discuss the treatment of this donation with a qualified tax advisor when preparing your tax return.
The Certified Public Accounting firm, Koutoulas & Relis, LLC*, will be issuing letters to serve as proof of donations. They are currently processing letters for those CCC members who have made PayPal contributions. Since many of the wires and checks we have received contained only partial contact information, we request that CCC members who have made contributions via check or wire should complete this form: CCC_donor_information_form and email it to email@example.com for processing. Future contributors who make donations via check or wire should fill out and return this form (CCC_donor_information_form), as well.
Our ongoing legal, public relations and lobbying campaigns will require additional resources in order for us to see them through to completion. Wiring instructions for the new CCC account are:
